Absence 

 

In the event that your child can not attend school for any reason please let the school know on the first day of absence by 9.15a.m.  Please ring school every day during their absence.  We need to know the reason that your child is away from school for our school records as well as your child’s personal profile. 

 

Attendance is monitored by school and by the Local Authority.  We keep a careful record of your punctuality and attendance and will contact you if we have any concerns.  Please aim for your child to be in school one hundred percent of the time. Holidays in term time will not be authorised.

 

Mrs Bains will send out information with regards to attendance and punctuality as attendance officer is part of her wider role.

 

Please let us know in advance if you need your child to leave early and the reason why.  Always inform your child’s teacher. When you arrive to collect your child early please go to the office and sign your child out.
