Good morning 2F! Learning is going to look a little bit different over the next two weeks, but I saw the amazing work you produced during Summer term at home, and I know you will all continue to work hard!
To keep up with your learning, it is a good idea to practise your phonics sounds, counting in ones, twos and tens and to practise your writing. It would be brilliant if you kept a diary during the next two weeks, so that you write a little bit every day. The spellings you need to practise are your common exception words and any phonic sounds that you are finding tricky. I have put all of those spellings and sounds below.
Each day, I will upload your English and Maths lessons to this page. You don't need to print them out- you can just do your work on a piece of paper. Please ask your parent/carer to email this to me at email@example.com. If you don't have email, you will need to bring your work in when we return. You can also email me if you just want to say hello! If you need pencils or paper please contact the school office.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all again very soon!
Love from Mrs Freeman
Remember, you can also make use of our online learning platforms at Education City and Times Tables Rock Stars!
We take part in a short virtual collective worship every Monday at 9.30am. This week our theme is ‘Being Thankful’ and the assembly is led by Miss Swords. If you would like to join from home this week, please use this link- Join Microsoft Teams Meeting
You do not need to download Teams and can click ‘open in browser’. Please put your child’s name and initial of their surname. We will only admit named users into the meeting. The lobby will close at 9.30 when the assembly starts. No one will be admitted after that point. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
