Hello year 5,

 

Thank you to those of you that have sent in your work. We are responding to them. We have noticed that many of you are finding the work challenging, so we have decided to provide videos to help you develop a bank of different strategies that can be used to calculate questions quickly.

 

The videos are from Oak Academy, they have been created to further develop your skills in Maths.

 

The videos will consist of;

New learning, talk task, developing our learning, independent task and the quiz challenge. Videos are approximately 15 – 30 minutes long. When the videos start the teachers will introduce themselves and the lessons with a short explanation and what skills you will be developing.

 

You will need; a pencil, rubber, ruler, paper or a book to write.

 

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO SEND IN THE WORK TO THE YEAR 5 WEBSITE SO THAT WE CAN SEE THE PROGRESS YOU ARE MAKING.
