Activity One

 

Use your homework book to write down words that contain the ir sound.  To help you get started you can write girl and twirl.  Can you draw a picture of the word? Challenge yourself to write the word in a sentence.  Remember to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in the sentences.  

 

Send an email to let us know how many words with the ir sound in them you can write!

 

Activity Two

 

Read the postcard to someone in your household and try to spot the ir words.  Either tell them the words or write them down.
